Original Artist Print by Hannah Hinojosa, screenprint, ink on paper. This piece is inspired by Psalm 23, and the imagery of the valley of the shadow of death. The thorns depict those troubles and trials we go though, and how death surrounds us all. The bubble represents our journey through this life, and God's protection over us. A thorn is piercing the bubble in the image, yet the bubble is intact. Safe.
This piece is a screenprint using 4 screens, one for each printed color. The artist was mindful of the printing process and overlapped various colors within the bubble to create more than just 4 colors on the image. The screens were prepared by hand by the artist using screen filler, and printed one color at a time.
All artwork is sold unmatted and shipped rolled in a protective tube. Optionally, you may have the purchased pieces professionally matted by the artist for an additional fee. Shipping on matted pieces will be a bit more because of oversize package fees. You may opt for standard or custom sized matting. The cost of both matting options is the same, however to eventually have it framed may be more expensive if custom size is chosen.
